About TailGate Beer
You might not expect to find great beer in a can but that happens to be the specialty at TailGate Beer. Though the brewery distributes across Tennessee and to other parts of the globe, local fans can enjoy its newest creations at the official tasting room on Charlotte Pike. At least two new beers are released in the tasting room every week. The all-ages facility open 7 days a week also features 60" TVs and a projector, an indoor stage, a full gourmet pizza menu, and a remodeled barn with tailgate games and picnic tables. Tours run every Saturday and Sunday, and reservations can be made for personal or private events.
Here's a quick look at TailGate Beer's flagship ale:
Peanut Butter Milk Stout (5.0% ABV): Becoming a cult classic in Nashville, the PBMS is a full bodied, velvety smooth Milk Stout. After fermentation is complete peanut butter flavor is added to the beer giving just enough of that recognizable peanut butter flavor and aroma, but still maintaining a delicious, approachable Milk Stout.
