They added an 18 gratuity, which some people wouldn't like and they charged 5 more dollars for a lamb dish. I loved the food, but they should not treat Groupon people different. They gave me two inch and a half size pieces of lamb and my husbands order of a half of a roaster was just three chicken legs. I hope that they don't do that for a full price meal, because I would complain at that point.

Experienced chefs simmer authentic Moroccan vegetable, meat & seafood dishes prepared in traditional clay cooking pots

Eating authentically prepared food lets you taste the very essence of a country and draws far fewer angry glares than chewing on its national flag. Fly the colors of new experiences with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of Moroccan cuisine at Tajine Alami. An 18% gratuity will be added to the total bill for parties of five or more.

Tajine Alami's experienced chefs dish up more than 25 authentic Moroccan entrees with vegetable, meat, and seafood mainstays simmered with herbs and spices in traditional clay cooking pots. Four or six-course Moroccan feasts ($21–$32 per person) envelops taste buds in a jovial, Middle Eastern soirée with a choice of lamb or vegetable soup served alongside slivers of homemade honey-wheat bread and napkins that shred themselves into piles of confetti. For the six-course meal, culinary artists pile platters with a mixed assortment of Moroccan salads and expertly assemble a customary bastella pastry, which enfolds a chicken or raisin, almond, and pear mixture into the crisp embrace of golden-brown phyllo dough.

Diners can select entrees from a well-seasoned selection that includes slowly simmered chicken or lamb tajine, scallops sautéed in olive oil and fresh garlic, and a spread of vegetarian dishes that infuse the room with a distinguished air, like a wing-tip cameo at an athletic store. Steaming cups of hot mint tea and flaky baklava end the gastronomic quest on honeyed tones.

Patrons who stop by the restaurant on Friday or Saturday nights enjoy meals accompanied by the swirling, gold-flecked undulations of a belly dancer. Following the customs of a traditional Moroccan meal, guests are encouraged to remove shoes and forego utensils, consuming the meal using hands only or a hand-shaped back-scratcher.
