Members receive unlimited admission to the arboretum's 360 acre oak preserve of prairies, wetlands, and gardens. Members also enjoy reciprocal membership at other North American arboretum and gardens locations, discounted gardening magazine subscriptions, and retail discounts at local garden stores. The family membership is for two adults and all of their children younger than 18, whereas the extended-family membership welcomes up to four adults, including grandparents.
A business membership confers perks on companies large and small. Member companies receive two passes that allow a staff member and up to five guests unlimited visits to the arboretum. They also get 20 one-time admission passes, five complimentary event passes, and additional benefits.
Taltree Arboretum & Gardens
Taltree Arboretum & Gardens beckons guests with 330 acres of oak-lined pathways, themed gardens, and natural amphitheaters. The varied gardens give guests a chance to explore landscapes from around the world, trekking from savanna wetlands to a monarch-butterfly waystation filled with milkweed and nectar flowers.
The staff at Taltree leads guests through these luscious surroundings on guided hikes that explore the grounds and illuminate scientific and botanical principles. From the rose garden to the animal habitats, the tour guides opine on the biology behind the specimens. Guests can even enjoy educational classes that teach a variety of subjects, such as painting, yoga, and science.
