This is a true locals spot located on a "back road" in an adorable little building totally devoted to John Deere. The portions are huge, the food very good, the service incredible (the owner is waiting tables and asking about us and no doubt she'll remember the next time she comes in). Everything is homemade including the deserts. This is where I will take guests. Support local!

Friendly neighborhood place to eat in a relaxed space.

What You'll Get

Going out to eat is more convenient than cooking, especially if all your colanders are already full of pasta you haven't gotten around to eating yet. Save all that pasta for another day with this Groupon.

$10 for $20 Worth of Food and Drink

The breakfast menu includes belgian waffles ($3.50), plate-sized pancakes with two eggs and sausage ($7.25), and corned-beef-hash omelets with american cheese ($6.99). The lunch menu includes patty melts with beef, turkey, or tuna ($5.85), fried steak sandwiches ($5.60), and grilled-cheese sandwiches with bacon ($5.55).

Tammy's Place

Framed John Deere memorabilia covers the walls, and miniature tractors and cars fill a glass display case. A mural on the back wall depicts an iconic green tractor rolling through a pasture. But this isn't a John Deere museum; it's Tammy's Place, a Bradenton eatery that embraces its concept right down to the tractor-green vinyl of its booths and 50-acre cornfield in the main dining area.

The husband-and-wife team behind Tammy's Place has a few specialties they're known for in the area; among them, housemade sausage gravy and pancakes as large as the plates they're served on. Other favorites the duo designed include patty melts and onion rings that have a high success rate when used in marriage proposals. Their "Duke" challenge burger weighs in at a full pound.
