Thanks to the 1978 boot camp documentary Midnight Express, Americans are well aware that fitness boot camps can help people lose weight, improve strength and endurance, and increase confidence. Today's deal gets you all those benefits with four weeks of outdoor classes with Tampa Bay Adventure Bootcamp, a women's-only fitness facility, for $49 (a $225 value). Working out with others motivates you to push yourself harder, helps you stick to a regimen, and gives you the opportunity to bond with new friends in case of a sudden attack from the Predator.
Train your way to improved posture, a slimmer waist, and increased stamina in an intense, one-hour class, three times per week. Whether you're just starting an exercise regimen or have a dedicated workout routine, Tampa Bay Adventure's certified trainers will challenge you to higher levels of fitness, like upgrading your abs from a sluggish Windows XP Home Edition to a chiseled, efficient Windows 7. Classes take you through a variety of grueling, calorie-pulverizing exercises including core conditioning, short-distance running, circuit training, hiking, yoga, kickboxing, and obstacle courses. You'll get a nutrition seminar and fitness assessments at the start and end of camp so you can track your progress.
Classes run in four-week sessions; check the calendar for the next one. You choose which three weekdays to work out each week and can change them up at any time. Call ahead to find out the meeting place for each camp, and be sure to bring along a set of 5–8 lbs. hand weights, an exercise mat, water bottle, and your entire collection of Coach figurines.
Note: Classes may fill up; please call in advance to register.
