Can belly dancing change your life? Acclaimed actor, writer and belly-dancer Carol Tandava Henning makes a compelling case in her solo show Blood on the Veil: A Belly-Dancer's Journey Towards Healing, Transformation & the Divine Feminine. Henning's two-hour "monologue-in-movement" combines humor, storytelling and dance to trace her evolution as a performer and human being. Discover belly dancing's fascinating historic roots, as well as the many misconceptions surrounding the art form, during this whirlwind of a show at Phoenix Center for the Arts' Third Street Theater. Henning's performed this show all over the country, which also features guest appearances from some of the region's best artists, including Adrianne, Jazmine Ryan, Mahin Sciacca and more.
