What You'll Get
Although Columbus famously "discovered" India by landing at Lexington and Concord and proudly ringing the Liberty Bell, the actual location of India remains a mystery. Today's Groupon offers the best lead the world has had in centuries: for $10, you get $20 worth of basmati rice, marinated lamb, and more at Tandoori's Royal Indian Cuisine, located in Williamsville.
Tandoori's Royal Indian Cuisine’s menu features a vast assortment of authentic Indian bites and exotic cuisine associated with the monarchs of the Mogul empire. Start with the malai kofta, croquettes of cheese and vegetables wallowing in rich gravy ($12.50) before moving on to bountiful basmati rice plates and salubrious seafood dishes, such as swordfish tandoori ($18). Or, triumphantly raise a skewer of seekh kabab ($16) as if you had claimed King Arthur's minced-lamb Excalibur. Beverage barons can glut their gullets with gulps of lassi meethi, a lightly sweetened yogurt drink ($4).
Romantic revelers can share Indian desserts, such as mango ice cream ($4.50), while soaking up the sultry atmosphere of white tablecloths contrasted with multi-hued, Indian-style draperies. To top off the charming experience, each lady receives a rose.

About Tandoori's Royal Indian Cuisine
The chefs at Tandoori's Royal Indian Cuisine pride themselves on crafting a menu of dishes enjoyed during the golden age of the Grand Moghuls in the 16th century, a time when fine Indian cuisine stepped onto the world’s culinary stage. With myriad authentic recipes at their fingertips, cooks craft porbo pola chicken with a medley of 21 sun-dried spices and coconut milk, as well as delicacies such as lobster tandoori and lamb entrees. At the full bar, mixologists match the heat of the tandoor by crafting spicy cocktails such as the Mumbai Manhattan and cool off palates with more than 30 beers hailing from all over the world. The friendly staff welcomes guests to enjoy the feast in the dining room where live music ignites the air on weekends, or out on the patio where the breeze reminds skydivers how difficult it is to eat curry while freefalling. For large events, the restaurant features a 50-seat conference room and hosts banquets for up to 275 guests.
