What You'll Get
According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, humans cannot attain self-actualization without first tending to such basic physiological needs as water, sleep, and pizza. Achieve overall fulfillment with today's Groupon: for $7, you get $15 worth of pub fare at Taps and Dolls, located above 6 Lounge on Meridian Street.
Nominated as one of Metromix's best bars in 2011, Taps and Dolls inaugurates the taste buds of its pub-dwelling diners with a medley of appetizers, sandwiches, and pizza. Inside the pub, patrons may subdue rampant appetites with 12 chicken wings ($8.50) or a basket of bacon-cheese or pizza fries ($5.50). Several flat-screen TVs hover above the bar so pub patrons can nosh on a hot ham-and-cheese sandwich ($5), a large pizza ($9), or a meatball sub ($6.50) while taking in important matches between their favorite sports teams or bellicose cartoon animals. Pool tables give competitive patrons a chance to implement their knowledge of geometry and kinetic energy, and a dance floor with an all-request DJ (Thursday–Saturday) allows toe tappers at the opposite end of the bar to show off choreographed routines to their favorite sitcom theme songs.
Although this Groupon is not valid toward the purchase of alcohol, Taps and Dolls features a full bar and a tap selection of 44 different beers. It also hosts an array of arcade games, including Golden Tee and Silver Strike Bowling.

About Taps & Dolls
Nominated as one of Metromix's best bars in 2011, Taps & Dolls matches a medley of appetizers, sandwiches, and pizza with more than 44 draft beers, including craft brews and big-brewery ales. As bartenders loosen the taps, a line of flickering flat-screen TVs above the bar lets patrons cheer on their favorite sports teams or bellicose cartoon animals while they quaff PBR or Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy. In addition to the 2-D entertainment, pool tables and arcade games—including Golden Tee and Silver Strike Bowling —keep fingers busy in between bites of chicken wings or fries, and a dance floor pulses with the beats of an all-request DJ Thursday–Saturday.
