Tarla Grill takes its name from the Turkish language—Tarla means "field"—and its culinary inspiration from Turkey and Greece's fertile lands. Its menu reflects Mediterranean home-style cooking, but with an upscale twist. The restaurant prides itself on using local, seasonal, and organic fare whenever possible to yield nourishing, creative, and culturally exciting eats. White-truffle chickpea pesto accompanies Turkish meatballs, baba ghanouj tops Shannon Ranch lamb burgers, and beef short ribs braise in a pomegranate-cabernet glaze.
These dishes, as well as lunch and brunch offerings, pop against white plates and tables set under elegant drop lighting. The stylish dining room also features an L-shaped bar, where patrons can sidle up for a glass of wine from the extensive wine list or a signature black cherry martini. Diners can also take their drinks outside and perch at tables nestled under the starry Napa sky and its UFOs.
