What You'll Get
Performing the Truffle Shuffle for your dear Valentine seems like a great gift in theory. In practice, however, a gift combining truffle showmanship with edibility will likely score better marks. Create and claim your own batch of truffles with today's deal. For $45, you get one admission to a Chocolate Truffle Workshop at Taste of Chocolate, an $88 value. Pick up a couple for your couple to prove once and for all that chocolate can survive and thrive outside a heart-shaped box.
Get to the bottom of the dark shroud of mystery surrounding chocolate. This workshop will not only teach you all about its origins, addictive tendencies, and power to heal rug burn—but also how it is made. Learn about the conversion process from bean to bar, and how this gooey good stuff is then transformed into truffle form. When you’re done, you’ll leave with 35 to 50 truffles of your own making. If you're attending with a partner, you're looking at up to 100 truffles, or enough to feed one albino polar bear until he's a rich grizzly brown.
Located in Boston’s Financial District in Elephant & Castle, Taste of Chocolate has several available workshops at 1 p.m. on Saturdays, and if demand is high enough, additional classes will be added. Check the schedule for upcoming workshops.

About Boston Chocolate School
The people behind Boston Chocolate School and Tours come from backgrounds as varied as chocolate itself, but all of us are seriously passionate about the food of the gods. Before any of us had an inkling that someday we’d be spending our days sharing this passion with others, we routinely devoured every tidbit of our favorite bean’s history and lore. We’d travel far and wide in search of new cacao-based experiences… tracking down tiny boutique chocolatiers based on a wisp of a rumor… and seeking out high-profile experts to answer increasingly arcane questions. Along the way, of course, were endless tastings.
