What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
[Pickles] made with 17 herbs, seven spices, and 10 [kinds of] dehydrated vegetables. Use the [leftover] juice for dirty martinis, marinades, wild game, pulled pork, pickled eggs, and salad dressing, or make your own pickles with our brine.
Of the products you sell, which are your favorites?
Mango con chile, garden-fresh salad, spicy chicken pickles…gourmet garlic jalapeno peppers, okra, [mixed] gourmet pickles and peppers, [mixed] pickles and cucumbers, and our famous avocado dip….
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My mother was dying from cancer. I had to buy her medications. My brother Joey was helping me can and he too died with lung cancer a year later. I started with $10 and worked four jobs (two part-time and two side jobs). Then I got one full-time job, lost that [job], and [had the opportunity to] focus on pickles and creating jobs!
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing…the satisfaction [my customers] get….The grateful opportunity to create many jobs!
