Tasty Thai Restaurant's chef uses recipes forged on the other side of the Pacific. A Thailand native who trained in Bangkok restaurants, she calls upon family recipes and her own experiences to craft a menu of authentic Thai food. Noodle soups and curries are among her specialties, both prepared fresh daily in forms as varied as sweet pineapple curry with coconut milk and sour noodle soup with mushrooms and spicy broth. Another strength is her sizzling beef—grilled slices of marinated tenderloin served on a hot plate and dressed with black-pepper sauce. The restaurant also serves up drinks such as coconut sake and Singha beer to complement the food and give everyone something to throw in the face of a chattering cad.
