What You'll Get
Like telling off a boss in a fit of rage, or unwittingly practicing a Three Stooges routine on a mafia boss, tattoos can be the source of much regret. Take a mulligan on a dermatological misfire with today’s Groupon: for $50, you get a 4"x6" tattoo-removal session at the Tattoo Removal Shop (up to a $500 value). After one session, tattoos will fade, but it generally takes 10–14 treatments for them to disappear altogether. Groupon customers will be granted 5% off additional treatments.
The Tattoo Removal Shop's licensed physician wields a trio of lasers to hit the backspace button on epidermal ink. During a pre-treatment consultation, clients learn the ins and outs of the procedure and take home a numbing cream to apply in preparation for the next day. Dr. Mike Towey, MD, then dials up his arsenal of lasers to scientifically calibrated frequencies, targeting every color from across the chromatic spectrum. Treatments last anywhere from five minutes to half an hour, depending on the variety of colors in a tattoo and how fervently depictions of Zeus thrashing on a double-V guitar fight back.
Dr. Towey's office is awash in bright Caribbean colors to relax minds and lull tattoos into blissful obliviousness before they get punched in the face by a laser beam. The gentle-hearted lasers usually hurt less than getting a tattoo, and the treatment leaves behind no residual pain. For an idea of the doctor's art-removal prowess, check the online photos page for some examples of his handiwork.

About Dr. Towey's Tattoo Removal Shop
Dr. Mike Towey uses five lasers to permeate the skin, erasing tattoo ink of all colors. A board-certified physician and Minnesota native, he strives to make these sessions as comfortable as possible by applying numbing creams to alleviate any pain or anxiety. Inside the shop, a space awash in vibrant Caribbean colors, Dr. Towey takes 7–9 sessions to send tattoos into the ether, with the body expelling the broken-up ink through natural processes.
