Tea Story

Tea Story is a sophisticated shop that got its start on Osborne Street. There, baristas brew more than 120 varieties of loose-leaf tea, including healthy green tea, traditional black tea, fragrant rooibos tea, all-natural herbal tea, ethnic oolong tea, fruit tea, and floral teas that bloom as they steep. Specialty ice lattes, fruit and vegetable smoothies, and bubble teas are also on the menu. Tea Story’s original location is sleek and stylish with midcentury furniture and an ultramodern chandelier.

The food was very good. The service not so much. And the noise level was a little too high. Still would give it a second chance just because the food was so good!

The waffles are delicious. In addition to all the ways in which you can eat their waffles, I wish they'd also offer the old fashioned Canadian way of eating waffles, with butter and maple syrup. Tried and true!

It's pricey (2 dessert waffles and 2 bubble teas for thirty bucks) but once in awhile it's a nice treat. Decorated very nicely.!
