Teagan's Steak and Seafood
"Teagan" is an Irish name meaning "beautiful and kind." It's a name Theresa and Al Pollock loved so much, they gave it to their daughter and their restaurant. Founded in 1994, Teagan's Steak and Seafood has now been serving up surf, turf, and more for almost 20 years. Some highlights, beyond its name's Irish roots, include:
The steak and seafood combo: This is the eatery's signature dish. Diners choose between two steaks and pick one of three seafood dishes, such as shrimp scampi and panko-crusted scallops.
The drinks for the 21-and-over crowd: The eatery boasts an extensive wine list. The servers also pour specialty cordials and flutes of champagne.
The Italian influences: Imported prosciutto is wrapped around fresh Atlantic sea scallops for one appetizer. Entrees include veal parmesan and other homages to Italy, all more understated than streamers made of spaghetti.
The catering: The chefs happily cater offsite events of all stripes, from proms to summertime barbecues.
