Q:

Will there be any more Intro classes scheduled for the Glendale location or any at the Buddy Stubbs location?

EL B.  asked on  May 1, 2014

A:

Great question El. Yes, we will be adding Introduction Courses to both sites after the completion of the Groupon campaign. We were waiting to determine the total number of vouchers sold before we established more course dates. Thank you for your consideration!

Q:

Second question. My daughter is interested, but she is very small, barely five feet tall and 100 pounds. Do you have a bike or scooter small enough that she could use?

Barry M.  asked on  Apr 30, 2014

A:

We like the follow up question Barry! Yes, we have bikes available for all sizes of individuals. In particular, the Honda Rebel or Suzuki GZ250 would provide a 27" seat height that works for most individuals your daughter's height. The scooters have a taller seat height; however, they are step through and are easy to mount and dismount. We look forward to seeing her in the classroom! Have fun...ride safe.

Q:

If I take this course will I receive a insurance discount?

Peter A.  asked on  Apr 30, 2014

A:

Good one Peter! This course does not enable folks to receive an insurance discount. The course that would make insurance discounts available to participants from most major carriers would be the Basic RiderCourse. If you'd prefer to go directly to the Basic RiderCourse, we have a promo code that reduces the course by $39 at the time of online registration (GRP39BRC). Click here for that promotion code: http://www.motorcycletraining.com/groupon/ Please let me know how I may assist you better.

Q:

What kind of bikes do you have for beginners?

Barry M.  asked on  Apr 29, 2014

A:

Good question Barry. All of our bikes are standard layout, up to 500 cc, Most are between 125cc and 250cc. This makes them compact, lightweight, and as easy as possible to learn on. We have a variety of sizes and styles of motorcycles; standard, dual purpose, cruisers, and even some sport bikes. The mix of machines varies each weekend. Motorcycles are matched to students by seat height and rider inseam length, not by style. Sorry, but we cannot guarantee bike selection. You may also use a scooter for the class if you are only intending to ride a scooter after you graduate. We can supply a scooter for you at some of our locations.

Q:

Will this course allow me to get my motorcycle license?

Julien H.  asked on  Apr 28, 2014

A:

Great question Julien. The Intro course is NOT the course that would permit you to obtain your motorcycle license. It is a great precursor, however, to the Basic RiderCourse which would enable you to obtain your motorcycle license.
