Riding a motorcycle is the best way to experience the thrill of the open road, outside of being hook and looped to the roof of a minivan or job shadowing the mailman. Get high-octane thrills with today’s Groupon: for $29, you get a four-hour Intro to Motorcycling course at Team Arizona (a $65 value). Choose from locations in Gilbert, Glendale, Sierra Vista, and on 22nd Street in Tucson.
The experienced hog handlers at Team Arizona prepare neophyte motorcyclists to hit the open road with comprehensive, personalized motorcycling classes. Each hands-on Intro to Motorcycling class maintains a small size, enabling coaches to provide one-to-one training and helping students learn at a slow, comfortable pace. Starting in the classroom, teachers spend 90 minutes covering basic controls, the components of a bike, and what a bike looks like inside out before heading outside to rev engines and maneuver motorbikes for 2.5 hours of supervised riding fun.
Team Arizona supplies riders with motorcycles, helmets, and gloves; however, riders should come equipped with durable pants (denim or thicker), long sleeves, and over-the-ankle footwear. No driver’s license is required to take this course, but riders must be at least 15 years and 7 months of age (proof of age is required).
