$20 for a 90-Minute Introductory Signature Dance Class ($40 Value)
Dressed in comfortable workout clothes, a class of female students begins a 90-minute introductory course with a candlelit stretch and warm-up. Instructors teach foundational skills through Pilates and yoga before moving into exotic dance and actual pole work. The Tease class does not involve stripping, and training is not intended to prepare women for adult entertainment. Instead, classes work to improve body acceptance while providing a fun fitness activity.

Tease Dance and Fitness
Kristin was nervous before her first pole-dancing class. Sure, she’d spent years as a fitness specialist with a background in classical dance, but she was also working as the volunteer director at her church. What would people think? At her first turn around the pole, however, her fears vanished. “I felt like a goddess and an acrobat,” she says.
Today, Kristin is a certified pole instructor, a master trainer for Pole Move, Inc, and a member of the Pole Fitness Association. Inside her 3,400-square-foot studio, she works alongside 16 PFA-certified instructors to teach women body acceptance through pole dancing. More than 3,000 female students so far have sampled the studio's liberating, confidence-boosting classes. There's a broad selection of class types, including eight stages of pole dancing, burlesque, aerobic classes, and core conditioning. Each class caps attendance at 10 students to ensure instructors know everyone’s name and favorite sandwich, and that they can keep an eye out for safety and technique.
Tease Dance and Fitness
Kristin, Tease’s founder, says her first aerial class made her feel like an acrobat dancing through the air. That's why she made a career of offering classes to guests looking to achieve the feeling of graceful weightlessness. For more than 10 years, guests have taken part in aerial silks and lyra classes, which combine the fun and excitement of the circus with the artistry and grace of dance, plus the raw thrill of running from a hungry bear. They also offer aerial yoga, which fuses the acrobatic arts with traditional yoga asanas, or poses.
