Oh my, this is my family’s favorite steakhouse in San Antonio area! When they come to visit we usually pay a visit to have the KC steak! It’s my fav!! The best green beans I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant!! I mean the BEST! It’s a must to try Tejas!!! I highly recommend it!

The bull is the most ferocious beast a man can ride, since saddling a seahorse is virtually impossible due to frequent underwater sandstorms and spiky tumbleseaweeds. Watch the terra-top thrill with today's Groupon: for $10, you get two adult admission tickets to the Tejas Rodeo Company in Bulverde (up to a $20 value). Children 6–12 are admitted for $5 and children under 5 are free. Rodeos occur every Saturday night through November 19. Gates open at 5 p.m., with smokehouse eats and activities available before the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Tucked beneath majestic covered grandstands, the Tejas Rodeo Company wrangles a riotous array of bull riding, family-oriented hullabaloo, and authentic Texan barbecue. Overcome two fears at once when gazing upon the radiant arena's staggering stable of stampeding bulls and intrepid rodeo clowns or revel in the dust-covered majesty of the rodeo's remarkable professional bull riders for 90 unbridled minutes. Family-oriented activities, such as calf scrambles and barrel racing, busy the mitts of pintsize cowpokes, and a fragrant display of sizzling steaks and barbecue piques the nostrils of festival prowlers from their aromatic outdoor pits. While not included with today's deal, guests can also wrangle a meal at Tejas Steakhouse and Saloon, where seasoned KC Style tenderloins ($18+) and succulent catfish ($12) trot alongside tot-friendly standbys including hamburgers ($5) and grilled peanut-butter and jelly ($4).

Postrodeo, music lovers can tip a 10-gallon top hat while two-stepping to the tunes supplied by a raucous roster of live country bands. For an added cost, patrons can ride the mechanical bull or just pretend they did through the magic of the photo bull.

About Tejas Rodeo Company

Each year, as February draws to a close, the energy in Bulverde, Texas builds towards one thing: the opening of rodeo season. Tejas Rodeo Company kicks off the festivities in style, hosting celebrations of colts, cowboys, and cattle every Saturday night. There, horses pull chuck wagons, ranchers lasso longhorns, and brave souls ride bulls to the delight of the crowd, who can emulate their heroes on a mechanical bull. Fans can even keep track of the rodeo rankings and return each week to cheer on their favorites in tie downs and barrel races. And after the last cowboy tips his hat to the crowd every night, live musicians steal the spotlight with country music that's capable of luring any age to the dance floor.

Few things complement that rodeo spirit like a steak, and Tejas' Steakhouse and Saloon has enough steak to act as currency should the dollar fail. Chefs source premium Akaushi beef from Beeman Ranch, cut it into two-ounce medallions, and season it with a signature rub before searing it to order. And those cuts of meat look right at home between the restaurant's walls. Wood paneling brims with saddles, chaps, pistols, and other authentic cowboy artifacts. The oldest item there? "Yellow Boy," a Winchester rifle made in 1870, the same year the color yellow was invented.
