Tapas is a dining style inspired by the spirit of sharing, unlike other restaurants, which draw their concepts from the ghost of solitude. Enjoy communal cuisine with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of dinner fare from Temper Grille in Granger.
Sprinkled with a robust array of small-plate selections, Temper Grille's menu is infused with inventive flavors and ingredients inspired by a medley of world cuisines. Appetizers lead the flavor cavalcade, spinning flags of pita bread atop a float of spinach dip, an amalgam of spinach, artichoke hearts, asiago, and monterey jack and parmesan cheese ($9). Sea-minded sustenance can be found on the surf menu, which includes the jumbo scallops, three colossal scallops blackened and courted by a piquant mango salsa ($17). Protein picks of the land include the Temper strip, a New York strip steak seared rare and sprawled across a bed of roasted red-pepper parmesan pesto sauce ($18), or the portobello stack, a flavor bomb brimming with a grilled, marinated portobello mushroom topped with grilled red onions, roasted red peppers, and a goat-cheese blend ($10), assembled by a team of Jenga masters. Though not covered by this Groupon, expert grape-fight judges will appreciate the extensive menu of red and white wines.
Temper Grille's conveniently sharable dishes make it a sensible spot for celebrating a promotion, birthday, or successful high-wire gambol to tap into the neighbor's cable box. Temper's sleek interior is peppered with well-positioned booths, tables cloaked in white tablecloths, and vibrant wall art backdropped by pastel hues and golden drapes. There is also an outdoor eating space for alfresco diners in search of fresh air to complement fresher discourse concerning the quantum mechanics of Marty McFly's levitating skateboard.
All diners must be 21 or older.

About Temper Grille
After years working as a sous chef and executive chef, Sean Kelley decided to found his own restaurant, where the rich colors and textures of tapas-style dishes are matched with vibrant decor. In the dining room, guests bite into lamb pops and sip hoppy craft beers from the beer list at booths underneath unearthly artwork. Wine bottles stand half-empty on the bright-red bar nearby as guests savor sharp whites and speak in arch tones about the declining quality of the Aquaman monthly series. Temper Grille recently underwent renovations and is celebrating its five year anniversary along with brand new weekly features to compliment the celebratory changes.
