What You'll Get
Like voluntary tasings and constructive criticism, some meals are best when delivered in small doses. Snack in stride with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of American tapas fare at Temper Grille in Granger.
Self-taught flavor forger Sean P. Kelley plates shareable portions that showcase the contrast of land and sea. Seared rare and served over a bed of pesto sauce, new york strip steaks ($18) curb meaty cravings and weigh down tables as they try to escape. As forks collide over crumb-encrusted mac 'n' cheese ($8), knives uncover treasure troves of baby spinach, cheese, and artichoke hearts inside stuffed chicken breasts ($13). From the sea, jumbo scallops back flip into beds of spicy mango salsa ($17), and chunks of lobster shower in garlic cream sauce ($20). Personally crafted by chef Sean, chocolate truffles ($6) gently signal sweet things like a lighthouse on the shores of Candy Land.
In Temper Grille's dining area, tables swathed in black cloths, pastel walls, and gold-colored drapes contrast vibrant wall art. In warmer months, an outdoor eating area allows diners to bask in the evening air and or chew flirty messages in Morse code to passersby.

About Temper Grille
After years working as a sous chef and executive chef, Sean Kelley decided to found his own restaurant, where the rich colors and textures of tapas-style dishes are matched with vibrant decor. In the dining room, guests bite into lamb pops and sip hoppy craft beers from the beer list at booths underneath unearthly artwork. Wine bottles stand half-empty on the bright-red bar nearby as guests savor sharp whites and speak in arch tones about the declining quality of the Aquaman monthly series. Temper Grille recently underwent renovations and is celebrating its five year anniversary along with brand new weekly features to compliment the celebratory changes.
