About Teske's Germania Restaurant & Beer Garden

One look at the menu, and it's clear that schnitzel and sausage run the show at Teske's Germania Restaurant & Beer Garden, where chef Scott Baumann prepares authentic Bavarian dishes in an original Bavarina gasthaus setting. Even before deciding on an entree, you can sample a platter of different sausages and wursts as an appetizer—or opt for a small plate of wild boar sausages covered in beer-braised onions. The schnitzel shines as a full dinner entree, however, with venison, pork, and veal varieties served with sides of spätzle or German potato salad. Like all dinners at the restaurant and beer garden, they arrive with homemade soup and apple strudel. Likewise, the lunch menu offers schnitzel, cubed pork, and pork roast, in addition to buffalo burger, veal and polish sausages, stuffed cabbage, salmon, salads, and sauteed vegetables.

These and other iconic German plates—including beef gulasch, vegetarian strudel, and smoked pork chops with sauerkraut—have been compiled by the Baumann family to counterbalance an impressive catalogue of beers. Choose from several imported bottles or brews on tap, available in full- and half-liter glasses instead of traditional pints or steins that read "World's Best Customer."
