Q:

Is this program accredited and can any educator be able to get deal?

Beth K.  asked on  Jan 30, 2013

A:

The certification and program are internationally recognized. The only admission requirement is a certain level of English proficiency which by the look of your email, you have already demonstrated you possess. You can purchase without worry.

Q:

Is there an online schedule you have to follow (certain dates?) or is it a go at your own pace online course?

JUANA G.  asked on  Jan 30, 2013

A:

You can start the course whenever you want but you have 12 months from the date of activation to complete it. The course is 100% online (no need to leave the comfort of your home) and entirely self-directed meaning it is to be done at you own pace and on your own time. There are no extra courses, exams or costs associated with being certified; the deal price includes everything you need.

Q:

I teach ESL in Europe now and was absolutely told wherever I applied that I would not be employable without the CELTA certification (or atleast passing the Cambridge TKT, which I have now done.) Does this organization have a list of institutions that recognize their certification?

Susan S.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

A:

Thank you for your interest. We are recognized by the English Language Teachers Society of Canada (http://elts.ca/schools/) and The Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (http://caslt.org/members/members-structure-institutional-current_en.php), are Institutional members of IATEFL (http://www.iatefl.org/ Membership# 23323) and are on the list of applicant members for accreditation at ACTDEC (http://www.actdec.org.uk/members.shtml)

Q:

Is this just a TESOL certification? Not sure what the difference is between a TEFL and a TESOL certification?

JUANA G.  asked on  Jan 29, 2013

A:

They are practically equivalent, so much so that by completing this course you will be certified in both.
