Q:

how long does the course usually take to complete if you work full time?

ellen l.  asked on  Feb 2, 2013

A:

You can start the course whenever you want but you have 12 months from the date of activation to complete it; it usually takes 2-3 months. The course is 100% online (no need to leave the comfort of your home) and entirely self-directed meaning it is to be done at you own pace and on your own time. There are no extra courses, exams or costs associated with being certified; the deal price includes everything you need.

Q:

What if you are not already an English teacher? Would this certification then be meaningless?

Chessa Rae J.  asked on  Jan 31, 2013

A:

Not at all. If you have TESOL certification, many places abroad will allow you to teach English without a university/college degree even. The need is that great.

Q:

At the end of the course, is a certification awarded? Is your company recognized by an accrediting agency?

janet h.  asked on  Jan 30, 2013

A:

Yes definitely. A digital copy of the certificate will be sent out to you free of charge upon completion. If you require a physical copy we can accommodate that for $30 (shipping and handling included).

Q:

Is the certificate recognized in the United States?

Estelle S.  asked on  Jan 30, 2013

A:

You might find that were you to want to teach in a public school in Canada or the US, a certification course such as ours would not be sufficient because the school board requires you have a TESOL diploma instead, which takes 2-3 years to complete. If however you are interested in working in a private school or any school abroad, our course will be more than sufficient to give you the qualifications you need to get the job.
