I've been here a few times already and I always enjoy myself, but I finally got to come on a Saturday to see the model trains display for my nephew's birthday celebration because he loves trains, and I can honestly say I enjoyed myself just as much as he did! I also always enjoy seeing the different trinkets that are available in the little gift shop.

Great displays of airplanes and artifacts. This museum is much bigger compared to when they were in galveston.

Great museum, very interesting history from Jean LaFitte to 1947 explosion and beyond. Exhibits were very professional and informative. Give it an hour, more on a Saturday when they have the model trains open.
