Texas Musicians Museum
Everything is bigger in Texas—including the state's vast musical legacy. That legacy is on full display at Texas Musicians Museum, which honors the Lone Star State's many award-winning artists with a collection of records, instruments, and other forms of memorabilia. Stage-worn outfits stand in glass cases, gold-painted records line the walls, and special exhibits describe the achievements of Hall of Fame musicians. In addition to offering regular tours to the public, the Museum gives members a chance to submit names for the next Hall of Fame award; past recipients include Buddy Holly, Janis Joplin, Willie Nelson, and Smokey Montgomery.
