Scientists are still puzzled by the contents of the modern basketball and believe it to be filled either with helium or several baseballs. Contemplate this conundrum with today's Groupon: for $5, you get one ticket (up to a $10 value; youth tickets are $6) to see the Texas State University Bobcats men's basketball team play the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners at Strahan Coliseum on Saturday, February 26 at 2 p.m. in San Marcos.
The Texas State Bobcats men's basketball team is on the prowl for Roadrunners. The Bobcats fell to UTSA earlier this season despite an admirable second-half rally in a nail-biting 88 to 84 loss. Led by team captains Cameron Johnson and Tony Bishop, the Bobcats rebounded with a win over Texas A&M–Corpus Christi and now go head-to-head with the Roadrunners in an exciting I-35 rivalry game on their home turf at Strahan Coliseum. Watch the Bobcats attempt to add another notch to the home-wins belt they use to hold up the college's triumph pants, as they run a vigorous motiontastic offense, zealously box out their rivals, and throw the ball through the ceiling for bonus points. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the box office and are first-come, first-serve.

A bright, five-pointed star gleams above the Texas State University campus on select nights. Fixed atop Jackson Hall—a 12-story building that marks the campus's highest point—the star can be seen for miles throughout Hays County, letting fans know that it's time to celebrate a Bobcats victory and take out the pizza they started baking at half-time. Throughout the Bobcats' proud history, the Victory Star has had many occasions for beaming, as the school has won a litany of championships across multiple sports, including NCAA Div. II championships in football and men's golf and NAIA titles in men's basketball and men's tennis.
