I had never gone there before the Groupon and the girl at the front was sooooo very helpful. She talked me through the process and never let me feel like an idiot. I was very pleased and have now taken my daughter with me.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was a first time tanner and the staff took extra time telling me tips to make the tan more successful. Another patron mentioned needing a heater unit in the machine. Would be more comfortable if available, does get a bit chilly. It's on 60 seconds so no worries if not.

What You'll Get

Prior to tanning salons, the only way to achieve a beautiful copper glow was to boil pennies and bathe in the scalding reduction. Achieve a less painful sheen with today's Groupon to Texas Tan, valid at locations in Coppell and Allen. Choose between the following options:

  • For $50, you get $100 worth of tanning services.
  • For $20, you get two VersaSpa spray tans (a $59.90 value).

Featuring top-of-the-line equipment, Texas Tan bronzes pallid physiques in comfortable beds and misting booths. Those opting to choose their own tanning options can toast within five beds based on the desired session time, hue, and tan-line camouflage pattern. The bronze bed ($8.95/session) bakes bodies in 20 minutes with an external cooling system, and the silver beds ($19.95/session) engilden with either a 12-minute standup booth or a 15-minute bed. The gold bed ($29.95/session) has a built-in air-conditioning system that coolly gossips while the wattage does its job in 12 minutes. Master pigmenters may partake of the platinum bed ($49.95/session), boasting 360-degree high-pressure tanning, an MP3 player connection, independent body and face ventilation systems, and optional coaching from King Midas.

Guests seeking a UV-free glow may opt instead for a sunless tan in the VersaSpa spray-tan booth ($29.95/session). In approximately 46 seconds, a bronze mist is evenly applied to the skin, providing a sun-free sun-kissed look without streaks or crop circles. An air blow-dry seals in the fresh epidermal tint for a more natural-looking tan, leaving clients free to stroll the sidewalk in summery style.

About Texas Tan

Texas Tan acquaints pallid complexions with a kaleidoscopic array of UV-tanning beds and spray-tanning booths. Like a mansion designed by a Jenga master, the tanning services have multiple levels. Starting at basic bronze beds equipped with external cooling systems, the tanning arsenal ranges all the way to top-of-the-line Platinum beds that tout 360-degree tanning, an MP3-player connection, and facial tanners.

Texas Tan also touts a sunless-spray-tan solution in its VersaSpa tanning booths, which envelop bodies in a golden mist over a mere 46 seconds. Guests step into the airy chambers of the tanning machine, where alternating gusts of pigmented tanning solutions evenly adhere a streak-free bronze to skin. Gilded glows last 5–10 days, allowing patrons ample time to show off their new, natural-looking tans during nights out with friends or while promoting Bikini Awareness Month.
