Thai food attempts to balance the five fundamental flavors: hot, sour, sweet, salty, and victory. Score a win for your mouth with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of authentic Thai cuisine and drinks at Thai Village.

Designated a Bib Gourmand restaurant by Michelin for its combination of culinary quality and value, Thai Village operates under the direction of Thai native Chution Ruanphae, who uses fresh ingredients and savvy know-how to offer guests a tasty menu of authentic dishes. Start out with the udon noodle soup ($5.95), or opt for a cuddly coupling of veggie- and egg-stuffed spring rolls ($3.95), whose plate date is chaperoned by sweet plum sauce. Made-to-order main dishes—including noodle, rice, and entree options—can be served in spicy Thai tradition or come mild to keep timid tongue buds from hiding behind overprotective molars. Smile-inducing dishes range from classic pad Thai ($7.50) and red or green curry ($7.95) to broccoli beef ($8.75), and most meat-centric meals can sport tofu substitutions to satiate veggivores and soy-bean magnates.

Guests can pore over their tooth-friendly treasures within Thai Village's friendly, relaxed, and richly colored interior or, during the warmer months, grab a seat on the outdoor patio.

Thai Village

On the Michelin Bib Gourmand list from 2011–2012 for gourmet value, Thai Village excites palates with traditional Asian cuisine, including many vegetarian options. Behind the restaurant’s carved wooden façade is a bright, exposed-brick dining room with a pressed-tin ceiling and walls speckled with ornately framed art. During warm weather, the restaurant’s outdoor patio allows guests to mingle spicy tastes with no-holds-barred staring contests against the sun.
