When left unfed, stomachs produce attention-seeking noises, from elephantine rumbles to avant-garde kazoo renditions of "Hungry Like the Wolf." Silence stomachs with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of Thai and sushi fare at Thaijindesu in Newport News.
Thaijindesu chaperones diners on a journey through Thailand and Japan by assembling a massive menu filled with authentic, hand-rolled sushi, as well as traditional curries, noodles, and grilled fare. Discover spherical harmony in the golden dumpling, a steamed pork and shrimp dumpling accompanied by crispy garlic shavings and a light sauce ($6), or judge the battle between sweet and savory raging within Thai pineapple duck ($17).
