Q:

Two questions: (1) if we purchase and there are not reservations available for the day we will be in town, can we get a refund? (2) what is the refund policy for bad weather? And what "bad weather" does it cover, if any? Thanks.

Jeff  asked on  Sep 29, 2013

A:

If you are limited to only one possible day, I would encourage you to look at the availability before you purchase the groupon. See http://bookeo.com/climb_frankenmuth. The vouchers are good for a year. We can not provide a refund for a Groupon because your payment goes to Groupon. However, we want you to have maximum flexibility, so you may reschedule this reservation up to just 2 hours prior to your scheduled visit. If you arrive late, but on the same day, we will honor your ticket(s) only on a space available basis. "No shows" on the reserved day cannot be refunded or rescheduled. No Lose Weather Policy- Like a pool, we continue to operate in the rain. However, should there be thunder or lightening and the park closes as the storm passes, we have a "no lose" policy for you. If thunder rumbles while you are at the park and if you have used less than half your climbing time, we will give you a voucher for a return visit. If you have used more than half of your time but still have time left, we will give you a coupon for 50% your next visit. If your whole visit is canceled because the park is closed due to weather you will receive a full refund.

Q:

Do I understand that the entire experience must be completed within two hours?

Claudene F.  asked on  Sep 28, 2013

A:

Hello Claudene, Tickets to The Adventure Park are for two hours. We add some additional tome to each ticket to allow for harnessing and the safety briefing. Can you complete everything in 2 hours? Maybe, but most people do not. That said, most people are pretty exhausted after two hours! Like a good ski slope, we have designed the park to encourage repeat visits. See You in The Trees! John

Q:

What is the ages appropriate for this excursion?

Timothy R.  asked on  Sep 26, 2013

A:

Hi Timothy, The Adventure Park at Frankenmuth has climbing for ages 7 and up. Our oldest climber is 80+! There are five trails in the treetops, and like a ski slope, each is color coded for its difficulty level. Here is a link to a video that shows more about the Adventure Park experience. http://youtu.be/sU3591K7WXo See you in The Trees! John

Q:

Is online reservation required at time of purchase, or later when you are ready to redeem the certificate?

Jennifer S.  asked on  Sep 25, 2013

A:

You'll make reservations after purchasing the Groupon, when you're ready to use them. All redemption instructions are included on the Groupon once it is purchased and printed.

Joseph G.  from  Groupon  replied on  Sep 25, 2013

A:

Hi Jennifer, Your Groupon Voucher will be good well into next year. It will include a link that you can use whenever you are ready to climb! Then just hop online and reserve your time in the trees. Keep in mind that our busiest tree times are mid day on weekends and our weekend night climbs. For those, its best to book at least a few days out, just to be sure you can get your preferred time. See You in The Trees!
