Q:

Does this deal include the gloves?

Susan R.  asked on  Jul 28, 2013

A:

Hi Susan, This deal includes the use of the Park's regular 'loaner' gloves that we provide with all park tickets. If you prefer to bring your own cloves, any decent work or garden gloves will do fine, or you may purchase a pair of all leather TreeKKer climbing gloves at the park for about $7.00. See You in The Trees! John

Q:

What is the charge if you go over the 2 hour time limit?

Melissa G.  asked on  Jul 27, 2013

A:

Hi Melissa, Most people find two hours in the trees to be quite a workout. Your climbing harness is tagged with a ticket (like a ski lift ticket) that shows your 'last climb time' That is two hours and 20 minutes after you buy your ticket. We add in 20 minutes for harnessing and the safety briefing. As an example, if you buy a ticket at 1pm, your ticket will show 3:20 as your last climb time. You can start any trail up until 3:20. So, truth be told, if you time it right, you can get about 2 1/2 hours of tree time on a 2 hour ticket. If you want to keep going, you can purchase an additional two hours for $38. See you in the Trees! John

Q:

What is the age limits for the ziplining experience? Can children participate?

Judy K.  asked on  Jul 24, 2013

A:

The park accommodates zipliners aged 7 and older.

Brette V.  from  Groupon  replied on  Jul 24, 2013

A:

Hi Judy, Its important to know that we are MUCH more than just zip lines. We have 5 aerial forest climbing trails strung high in the trees. Each trail consists of 10-15 different fun climbing challenges, "bridges", between trees. At least one of these on each trail is a zip line. John

Q:

The Groupon says this is up to a 52% off discount. The company website says the ticket price for an adult is $38. The groupon offer is for $26. None of the pricing packages offered equate to a 52% discount??

Michael M.  asked on  Jul 24, 2013

A:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we're very sorry for the confusion. The values on our deal page were initially incorrect. We have confirmed the correct values with the merchant and have updated our deal description to reflect this information. The correct values for each option are as follows:

$26 for a zipline-adventure-park visit for one, redeemable Monday–Friday (a $41.80 value)
$53 for a zipline-adventure-park visit for two, redeemable Monday–Friday (a $83.60 value)
$105 for a zipline-adventure-park visit for four, redeemable Monday–Friday (a $167.20 value)

Please note that the values specified for each option include tax. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department by emailing support@groupon.com, or by calling 877-788-7858, M-F from 9am-5pm CT.

Q:

How long does this ziplining experience last? I see no description of the ziplining on your website. Also if I purchase four passes, can four people go together on the same day.

Sophia S.  asked on  Jul 23, 2013

A:

Thanks Sophia for the great question. Tickets to The Adventure Park at Storrs are for two hours of climbing and zipping. Its important to know that these activities go together. There are 5 trails up in the trees. Each trail has at least one zip line. Trails consist of approximately 12-15 interconnected 'bridges' or obstacle challenges strung 20-50 feet in the air. Each trail is color coded, reflecting its difficulty, similar to a sky mountain. See you In The Trees! John

Q:

If you buy the Groupon for 4, can it be used in one day for 4 seperate people, or does it need to be used by 1 person over 4 different visits?

Amy B.  asked on  Jul 23, 2013

A:

Very sorry for any confusion! There was initially a mistake in the Fine Print for this offer that stated that the 2 and 4-pass options needed to be used over separate visits. That restriction has been removed from the Fine Print. The 4-person option actually needs to be used in a single visit for 4 people. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department by emailing support@groupon.com, or by calling 877-788-7858, M-F from 9am-5pm CT.
