All children know that bus wheels "go round and round," but they don't know that a deep-rooted fear of singing is why the wheels can never stop moving. Motivate a terrified people-mover with today's Groupon for a ticket to ride the Alaska Park Connection motorcoach. Choose between the following options:

  • For $40, you get one same-day roundtrip ticket leaving from Anchorage to Seward (an $80 value).
  • For $27, you get a one-way ticket between Anchorage and Seward in either direction (up to a $65 value).

The Alaska Park Connection motorcoach surrounds passengers in comfort and panoramas as it whisks them between choice destinations throughout southern Alaska. Spend a day gallivanting around scenic Seward, located on the northern end of Resurrection Bay. The roundtrip service between Anchorage and Seward leaves Anchorage at 7 a.m. and departs Seward at 6:30 p.m., leaving plenty of time in between to explore all that the charming seaside town has to offer.

If one day isn't enough time, the one-way service provides more flexibility. Both the roundtrip and one-way services follow the same route along the Seward Highway, designated an Alaskan National Scenic Byway. Follow the coast along the Turnagain Arm and over the scenic mountain passes while knowledgeable drivers point out choice bits of scenery. Pit stops for photo ops allow passengers to provide photographic proof that buses still exist in the frozen north. The schedule offers a variety of convenient runs daily. Morning buses depart from the Egan Convention Center on West Fifth Avenue and the afternoon buses depart from the Anchorage Museum on C Street.

Alaska Park Connection regularly charges half price for children 11 and under.
