Q:

I"ve been to another alligator attraction in Florida that didn't allow feeding during mating season (at least that's what I was told). Are there any block out weeks or months for this deal? And just curious, what happens to your baby alligators when they are too big for guest to hold? Do they live at your farm or are they released? Thanks!

Lillian M.  asked on  Nov 13, 2012

A:

Hi Lillian, We do allow feeding during mating season since the gators that are fed are not large enough to mate( they are only 2-3 feet long). There are no black-out dates, but we are closed on holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Feel free to call us and verify date and time as hours vary according to the season. We work with several farms, sanctuaries and zoos, so when we need to change gators out due to size, we just exchange them for smaller alligators. Alligators raised in captivity must remain in captivity because they have lost their fear of humans. Our gators are raised for education and display. Hope this answers your questions. Thanks.

Q:

To make this crystal clear.... If you have 6 people each individual gets to feed and hold a gator, right? If I bring 4 boys no one is going to want to be left out!

Rita H.  asked on  Nov 13, 2012

A:

The $15 deal is for admission up to 6 people. It includes ONE hold which can be for one individual to hold OR the group can hold the gator together as a group photo. The feeding is for 4 pieces so each child could take a turn. See the website thealligatorattraction.com or the facebook page for photos of group holds. .
