What You'll Get
Facials take a gentle approach to softening faces, unlike taking a hair dryer to a smug-looking snowman. Smooth things over with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $35 for a one-hour facial ($90 value)
- $49 for a one-hour facial and a 30-minute scalp massage ($130 value)

The staff at The Andrea Oliver Centre for Ayurveda Rituals suggests that each client go online and take a Dosha test prior to their facial. The Dosha test identifies your mind and body type and helps the beauty team to customize your one-hour facial with cleansers that incorporate essential oils, plant and flower tinctures, and floral waters from across the globe. The optional 30-minute scalp massage also dotes on the upper neck, shoulders, and face and soothes the scalp with a hot-oil conditioning treatment that will leave the hair shiny post-treatment, so clients may want to bring a hat to cover their hair afterward.

About The Andrea Olivera Centre for Ayurveda Rituals
Practitioners of Ayurveda trace its roots back more than 5,000 years, when sages in India began to believe that balance was the key to a healthy body. In order to achieve such a balance, they understood that the body's three doshas––or humours––must be brought into harmony. This simple foundation stresses the need to understand one's own unique body type and disposition in order to put these elements back into proportion, which is precisely what Ayurveda is today: customized treatments designed to re-establish equilibrium throughout mind, body, and spirit.
Andrea Olivera opened her self-named Ayurveda rituals centre with exactly these principles in mind. During her 20-year career, she has been both a spa professional and an educator, helming her centre’s training branch and teaching at colleges and private schools. When not training other aestheticians and massage therapists through the Ayurvedic Spa Specialist Program, she and her staff help clients find holistic harmony through Ayurvedic facials, massages, steam-based shirodhara cleansings, and acupuncture. Services are performed using the spa's proprietary line of products, which incorporate such natural ingredients as essential oils, plant and flower tinctures, and floral waters harvested from organic ingredients from around the world.
