Big enough for a ton of laughs small enough for that cozy feeling. Hilarious show.

What You'll Get

Laughter is the best medicine, though it tends to be the worst legal defense. Salute the healing art of comedy with today's Groupon: for $25, you get two tickets to see The Irish Comedy Tour at The Atlantic Theater on Saturday, February 26 at 9:30 p.m. (a $50 value). Anyone can attend this event, but it may not be appropriate for all ages.

This rowdy, boisterous tour showcases a tri-faced Cerberus of Emerald Isle funnymen. Yuck it up with Irish American merriment dispensers Derek Richards and Mike McCarthy—two bawdy bananas hailing from Detroit and Boston, respectively—before taboo-busting Dubliner Keith Aherne takes the stage to prove that his elbows really exist, among other things. Aherne also adds a musical component to the show, strumming his guitar along to authentic Irish tunes. Tickets are general admission and seats are first-come, first-served, so arrive early.

CityVoters named The Atlantic Theater one of the Top 5 best theaters. Three Insider Pagers give the theater's academy an average of five stars.

About Borland Center

Named in honor of golf-course designer Bruce Borland, who died in a plane accident in 1999, the Borland Center swings open its doors to the community by focusing on family values. Concerts, plays, and recitals are just a few of the events that coax guests into the venue's 10,000 square feet of space, which harbors a 500-seat theater and a multipurpose ballroom that doubles as an indoor practice field for local cribbage teams on rainy days.
