The Big Ragu
If you want to mimic a classic trattoria, you had better keep your menu simple and make your own pasta. The Big Ragu does both. Threads of homemade pasta come in several forms on the menu, including ribbon-cut pappardelle topped with the eatery's signature slow-cooked lamb and plum tomato ragu. The Big Ragu's rustic dining room opens its doors for breakfast and lunch earlier in the day as well. That's when eaters can feast on margarita pizzas, provolone-blanketed veal sandwiches, or eggs florentine instead of settling for the dew that formed on trees overnight.
