Hockey teams are often named after intimidating natural phenomena, such as the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Tuscaloosa Puberty. Experience the fury with today's Groupon: for $5, you get one adult general-admission ticket to see the Billings Bulls junior hockey team at Centennial Ice Arena on Bench Boulevard (a $10 value). The Billings Bulls look to charge through the last of their unfortunate opponents in the Tier III Junior-A Northern Pacific Hockey League as the 2010–2011 season draws to a close. Performing a motion offense with the grace of Beethoven's first symphony and the speed of Mozart devouring a third helping of crème brûlée, the vivacious squad of young puck handlers frequently sells out its home games. Watch the Bulls take on opponents—including the Butte Roughriders, Bozeman Icedogs, Missoula Maulers, or Helena Bighorns—in one of the season's six remaining home games. Fans can check the online season schedule to make their plans.

Centennial Ice Arena
Centennial Ice Arena may be owned and operated by the Billings Amateur Hockey League, but hockey is by no means the only sport that takes place on its glassy plane of frozen water. In fact, the rink's calendar is chock-full of not only youth and adult hockey practices, but also figure-skating events, basic skating instruction, and even curling. Public skates, when the zambonis and confused ice fishermen clear the rink and open it to the general public, are also scheduled throughout the week.
