Tea's health benefits may come from antioxidants, but its dance skills come from years spent shaking its loose leaves in local discotheques. Enjoy a multifaceted refreshment with today's Groupon to The Blue Willow Tea Shop in Gravenhurst. Choose between the following options:

  • For $6, you get $12 worth of English fare and drinks during lunch.
  • For $10, you get $20 worth of English fare and drinks during dinner. Dinner is served on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Framed by waterside views of Lake Muskoka, The Blue Willow plates traditional English fare and steeps more than 18 loose-leaf teas, in addition to stocking myriad cups, saucers, and other tea-centric accessories. Lunch guests stabilize shaky palates with Guinness beef stew ($10.29) and revive fruitless stomachs with a grilled-brie-and-cranberry sandwich with a caesar side salad ($7.99).

On the dinner menu, half of an avocado completes itself with a union of prawns in cream sauce ($7.99), and bangers and mash with Ontario pork, buttered potatoes, and Muskoka ale gravy reverberates plates in three-part flavour harmony ($14.59). Diners soak in the Victorian-influenced dark wood furnishings and decorative china while sipping black, white, green, or fruit teas ($2.35) or imbibe liquid tradition with local brews such as British-style Muskoka cream ale ($6.25). Like 18th-century subpoenas, all meals are served on signature porcelain.

Customer Reviews

This is a wonderful place to have an English style dinner meal, or light snack with a nice selection of teas. It closely represents that of a British diner and the owner is usually there to interact with the patrons with an enviting personality. A great place to go.

Blue Willow Tea Shop is lovely with views of Muskoka Bay and the steamships coming/going. Traditional english fare is served. Nice spot for the more mature crowd.
