Zumba incorporates dance-fitness steps into workouts backed by sultry Latin beats. Clients combine cardio, resistance training, and sports conditioning during outdoor boot-camp sessions. In Fighter Fusion classes, boxing elements, martial-arts moves, and aerobic activities produce high-energy cardio-kickboxing routines. An in-house nutritionist and follow-up body-fat tests keep fitness goals on track.<p>

The Bod-e² Shop

Art “The Shark” Correa has a history of surmounting life’s challenges in pursuit of his business and fitness goals. While earning his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology—thereby becoming his family’s first college graduate—Art yearned to apply his knowledge toward other people’s physical betterment, and gained national certification as a personal trainer. He then used his health expertise to found The Bod-e² Shop, a wellness sanctuary for all fitness levels, and has since trained such elite clients as NFL players Zack Follett and Ricky Manning, Jr.

The Bod-e² Shop functions as an all-purpose workout zone, manned by personal trainers and instructors who run kickboxing, Zumba, and intense boot-camp classes. Private sessions with the trainers can focus on sports-performance or toning goals, providing encouragement with motivating words rather than drill sergeant mantras or shyly suggestive fireworks displays. The gym’s roster of advanced equipment has been highlighted on KMPH’s Valley Life, and includes core-tightening air benches alongside Jacob’s Ladder, a machine whose cycling rungs simulate climbing.
