What You'll Get
Originally a still-life art form, boudoir photography switched to human subjects when clothiers stopped making apple-size garter belts. Bite the fruits of seduction with today's Groupon: for $99, you get a 30-minute boudoir photo shoot and seven high-quality digital images from The Boudoir Divas (a $286 value).
Authors and co-owners Marissa Boucher and Kimberlee West head an all-female staff of experienced boudoir photographers who cunningly capture women’s inner vixens in glamorous, magazine-quality images. Each client becomes a model after donning a single, carefully chosen outfit that they bring to the themed shoot, which takes place in one of the 4,500-square-foot studio’s extensive array of sets and backdrops. The Divas provide all the props necessary to evoke a vintage boudoir or a decadent DMV waiting room during each 30-minute session, which entails quick consultation with the photographer and approximately 20 minutes of posing. Later in the day, customers can pick their favorites from 30 proofs; seven of these will be retouched and airbrushed into high-quality digital images suitable for printing at any size up to 8" x 12".
Appointments with one of the studio’s professional makeup artists (not included in this Groupon) can help clients prepare for their shoots, and models can also add another set and outfit to their photographic repertoires for an additional cost. The Boudoir Divas book their photo sessions during the week’s most coquettish days, Monday–Thursday, and clients are advised to make reservations two to four weeks in advance.

About The Boudoir Divas
The Boudoir Divas want to make the "ultimate supermodel experience" accessible to every woman, and the website's testimonial page offers happily tearful proof of that mission's success. For example, client Susan wanted to shed her everyday style for a day of flashbulbs and glamour. She starts her anecdote by describing the consultation she had in the jazzy, girly dressing room, and finishes her story by confessing that when she saw her prints, she cried. Susan described the experience as life-changing, saying, "it was just one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Second to my wedding."
Creating these unforgettable experiences is an all-female staff of photographers, makeup artists, and image editors, who run a 6,500-square-foot studio that houses a dressing room, more than 16 sets, and an area to review subjects' proofs. Spangled with vanity lights, the crimson dressing room is lined with a wall of shoes, and opposite, a wardrobe rack is strewn with leopard print, tulle, fringe, and lace, offering a variety of mix-and-match outfit choices. Numerous packages are available, and the Divas' portfolio is divided into Romantic, Supermodel Sassy, Fine Art, and Simply Beautiful categories.
