Q:

This expires in September, but the Brattle website calendar only has the next month of showings shown. Any way they can hint at what's in store for July and August? Hopefully something besides Nick Cage?

Hi Andrea
The most update to date information would be on their website. When they know the schedule for July and beyond, they will post it. Thanks for your interest!

Hi Andrea, First of all, though the Groupon voucher expires in September, the tickets you receive when you redeem it will be valid for 1 year from the date you redeem. We are still working on confirming our program for the summer, but here is a sample of what we have coming up: - "The Story of Film: An Odyssey" is a 15-episode documentary about the history of film. we'll be screening it throughout the summer along with companion screenings. - "Recent Raves" is a program of recent art house hits that we'll be presenting on Wednesdays this summer - "International Action" is a series of action films from around the globe inspired by the recent his The Raid - We'll also be screening new art films, new 35mm prints, and more fun stuff - We conclude our summer season with a touring program of films from Studio Ghibli - the legendary Japanese animation studio run by Hayao Miyazaki, director of Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke We have a lot more planned for the rest of the year and I'm sure you'll find plenty of programs to use your passes at! Thanks for your interest! Ned Hinkle Brattle Theatre
