Best known as a member of the genre-crossing band Pink Martini and as a contestant on CBS' Rock Star: Supernova, singer Storm Large has a voice that's croons a ballad as well as it belts out a rock anthem. After getting her start as part of the cult Portland band the Balls, Large has branched out into theater and cabaret, performing in her acclaimed off-Broadway one-woman show Crazy Enough (and authoring a memoir with the same name) and in Randy Newman's Harps and Angels. Her single "Ladylike," featuring Jane's Addiction's Dave Navarro, debuted at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot Singles Sales chart. A versatile stylist, she's performed with everyone from John Doe, Rufus Wainwright and George Clinton to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, and has appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Now Large comes to The Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center with her band Le Bonheur for a sensational cabaret show.
