Q:

Hi H, I talked with you today about the 30th not working but I can't get into the groupon scheduler to change it. I think you mention that the 23rd is open. That would be fine with me or in September. Thanks! Julie

Julie C.  asked on  Aug 15, 2012

A:

Julie, You tell me when you want to come and I can put it in manually. I can check with the Groupon people to see what's up. Thanks.

Q:

An evening class or weekend class would be great! Is there anyway you could create one that us 8-5 workers could take? Thank you!

Ashley P.  asked on  Aug 15, 2012

A:

Ashley, I wish we could, too. At this time we have just those special openings for the Groupon offer at the store I am working with. You are always welcome to book with me privately at a time that is convenient for you if the Groupon offer doesn't work. My rate is $25/hour for private one-on-one sessions. Thanks so much for your interest and let me know if you have any more questions.

Q:

What is the youngest age you will teach?

Jennifer L.  asked on  Aug 14, 2012

A:

For this class, we're asking for a minimum age of 10 (it's in the fine print FYI =)). For other students who wish to book privately, I'll go as young as 8 as a mother-daughter collaboration.

Q:

Do you have any classes at morning time? or noon time? I dont have a sewing machine, im thinking on getting one, it is necesary to have it for the class?

martha b.  asked on  Aug 14, 2012

A:

Martha, Hi! Hope your day is going well. First of all, you don't need a sewing machine. We have loaner machines available by request for the classes. I may add a morning class after a while if we get enough requests for it for sure. We can always work something out. Maybe you could go with a friend. That might be fun. Hope to see you soon.

Q:

The only times would be after 6 any weekday or anytime on the weekends.

Julie C.  asked on  Aug 13, 2012

A:

Julie, I did submit an answer to you yesterday but for some reason it's showing that you did not get an answer. I'm so sorry. I'm not sure why. Anyway, to answer, it is a one time class. So I do hope you can work something out. See you soon.

Q:

My first question is: Do you have any plans to open up a class at night for people who work during the day? Can you please specify what you will be teaching?

Luciana D.  asked on  Aug 14, 2012

A:

At this time we only have daytime available. In the class, we'll be covering sewing machine basics, seam allowance, straight stitching and we'll make a tote bag for you to keep!
