The Caribbean American Heritage Foundation of Texas
The Caribbean American Heritage Foundation of Texas raises awareness for the rich cultural traditions and contributions of Caribbean people living in Texas. It achieves this goal through events and opportunities for local young people and organizations. These events include town halls with politicians, family fun days with games and food, and sporting exhibitions. The foundation also launched CAHFT TV on its YouTube channel to showcase in-depth interviews with members of the Caribbean community and live coverage of local entertainment.
The foundation's biggest event runs in celebration of Caribbean-American Heritage Month. Every June, it holds a festival featuring native music, dance performances, and authentic foods to get the broader community involved in celebration of Caribbean culture.
