Golf is doubly relaxing because it's a calm game in the verdant outdoors and because there are no families there having feelings at you. Get a hole for one in this Groupon.

Byron Casper kicks off each lesson on the range at Thanksgiving Point with some basic instruction on the fundamentals of proper swing mechanics while a video camera captures each of the student’s strokes. He offers pointers and makes tweaks to the swing so that the video recording can reveal what it looks like both before and after Byron's adjustments. The student heads home with a copy of the recording as well as a list of practice drills to help keep his or her game sharp.
The Casper Golf Academy
Many golf instructors grow up loving the game of golf, but precious few can say they inherited their passion from a golf legend. As the son of Billy Casper—1970 Masters champion, two-time U.S. Open champion, and 1978 World Golf Hall of Fame inductee—Byron Casper is one instructor who can say just that. He serves as the chief lesson-giver of his eponymous golf academy, carrying out the day-to-day instruction on the range at Thanksgiving Point Golf Course. He helps players improve by making tweaks to both their swings and mindsets, relying upon video analysis to reveal the presence of backswing hitches and downswing giggle fits. Students can elect to take direction on the range, within a TruGolf simulator loaded with more than 75 famous golf courses, or out on the course, where the player will receive coaching on strategic aspects of the game such as course management and awareness of the rules.
