The Cellar Pub & Grill
Wisconsin has more bars per capita than almost every other state, and The Cellar Pub & Grill in Oak Creek is one of the older ones in existence. Its history dates back to the 1860s, about a decade after Wisconsin officially became a state. Back then it was known as Oakwood Hall and was a place for men to gather and discuss the politics of the era. Now everyone in the community can gather here for dinner, drinks, and games on the 50-inch plasma TVs.
The kitchen churns out half-pound burgers, Everything But Anchovies pizzas, and fish fries with cod or bluegill. Craft beer from such places as Left Hand Brewing Company, 3 Floyds and Deschutes Brewery accompany the meals.
