Based on the centre's The Art of Being Alive program, the condensed four-hour course teaches participants mindful-meditation techniques that awaken the senses and calm one's mind and body. The techniques, taught by experienced instructors, also help participants improve their sleep, control pain, improve work performance, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. Though this course is designed for beginners, it is still beneficial for more advanced practitioners. Classes are available on March 9 and 31 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Please call for additional class requests.
