What You'll Get
Before the invention of moon shoes, people had to attack pesky cliff faces with forearms of steel and Funyun-fueled intensity. Scale vertical surfaces the old-fashioned way with today's Groupon: for $25, new clients get one month of unlimited climbing, including half-price shoe rental, half off classes, and free harness rental (up to a $60 value) at The Climbing Wall, located in Point Breeze. This deal is also valid for clients whose memberships have been inactive for more than six months.
The Climbing Wall offers several different configurations, wall structures, and levels of difficulty, allowing climbers of all levels to navigate as vertically as they choose. With more than 14,000 square feet of climbing surface, the facility is among the largest in Pittsburgh. The area is large enough to stump seventh-grade geometry students and solidify "The Climbing Wall" as a successful punch line to a yo’ mama joke. Grab a rope to tackle one of the leading or top-rope walls, or opt for the challenging yet acrophobe-friendly bouldering walls.
The Climbing Wall is open seven days a week and has late hours on weekdays for night owls who can't fly. Reaching new heights is a great way for people of all ages to boost confidence, achieve a total-body workout, and see life through the eyes of public menace Spider-Man.
Climbers must be age 6 or older.

About The Climbing Wall
At 14,000 square feet, The Climbing Wall might be the next best thing to the great outdoors. Challenges abound for climbers, as the staff resets the routes several times a week. Top-roping walls stretch up to 30 feet high and present participants with obstacles such as overhangs and slabs. The bouldering walls are equally as imposing, with three top outs. Both adults and kids can take classes to learn how to tackle the walls and show off their skills in the real world by skipping the stairs and climbing up to their bedrooms.
