I got some knitting supplies, not a lot of yarn. But if you are a sewer there is a lot of nice fabric.

About The Cloth Castle

Four generations have roamed the two storeys of The Cloth Castle in the 40 years it's been in business, from owner Sylvia Ratcliffe to her two great grandchildren. The familial vibe extends to the staff members, who cordially share tidbits of sewing, knitting, embroidering, and quilting wisdom as they guide customers through 5,000 square feet of supplies. Tens of thousands of fabric bolts playfully suggest new wardrobe additions, achievable through the store's collection of books and patterns or through the 40-some classes taught within its walls. Beginning knitters can learn to make their own socks, and experienced seamstresses can reduce the time it takes to mend a tattered shirt or sew up the rupture in a baked potato by working with newly purchased sewing machines from Singer and Husqvarna.
